«The session was very well organized, and the overall setup made it easy for us to conduct the demonstration and receive meaningful input. We truly appreciated how smoothly everything was arranged, from the introductions and agenda to the hands-on testing and open discussion.
We were also impressed by the willingness of everyone involved to participate actively in the pilot. The openness of the staff to share their daily routines, challenges, and honest experiences gave us valuable, real-world insights. The discussions around current workflows, testing frequency, decision-making pathways, and logistical issues were especially informative. Hearing directly about manual strip reading, transport challenges, the roles of GPs and institutional doctors, as well as existing equipment and procurement limitations, helped us clearly understand where our solution can provide genuine value.
The combination of inviting both nurses and innovation managers from different municipalities was particularly effective. It allowed us to receive first-hand information about how urine testing is performed in daily practice and, at the same time, gain equally direct insights into how municipalities approach and adopt new innovations. This mix gave us a uniquely complete picture of both operational and strategic needs.
We also gained a clearer understanding of the practical constraints municipalities face, including the importance of comparing our device’s pricing to the costs of government-funded hospital test kits. It was very helpful to learn that purchasing decisions depend heavily on demonstrated cost-effectiveness and clear value for care providers.
Overall, the feedback we received was thoughtful, practical, and highly relevant. It helped us better understand the needs of users across nursing homes, home-care services, and other healthcare settings.
One area that could be improved for future sessions is choosing a room with stronger Wi-Fi or network connectivity to ensure demonstrations run without interruptions. Another thing that could be valuable is to ask participants to give a simple yes/no response or a rating score for the innovation and generate a signed report based on the results. This would be extremely helpful for startups during investor discussions to demonstrate traction, if such a feature could be offered by HelseTekPorten.
Overall, the pilot was extremely valuable for us. The professionalism, preparedness, and openness made the session both productive and enjoyable, and we look forward to continued collaboration.»
